♪ A riddler’s complaint is… #

The purpose of this blog is to connect (yes, play the word) with the puzzle community. I need to educate myself to know what people don’t like, as much as what they do, so I can be sure to write about what is relevant to all of us puzzles. I want entertainment as well as more value.

As with whatever we love, there are things that upset us. I’m curious which pet is at the top of my list of puzzle players. I asked questions online, and there are more than 100 recorded and summary answers.

Dust in Jigsaw Puzzle Box

The first complaint was about… the riddle dust. I’ll keep this in mind when I review to show how much dust there is in the frame. The more I know, the more I can help the puzzleers decide if they want to do something. The solvent dust is particles and beards that come from cutters during production. It’s beautiful and everywhere! I often arranged a session or two from the box and then put the box in the trash. Others use a type to sift the pieces before they start. Others use laundry bags or small vacuum cleaners to clean up dust.

Puzzles Brands

The next big complaint is from the puzzle makers who follow the box as they make puzzles. There are several box-shaped labels with their logos. We can’t see this image if they block it by stamping it. It’s not a problem if there’s a poster in the frame, but not all labels have posters, and then we need to find images online for guidance. Along with this problem, sometimes the image on the frame is not a picture representing the actual image. I saw this myself when the colors faded and did not fit. It is frustrating to try to fit a piece into its place and find that the colors on the box or posters are not like itself. The puzzles are about images. We need to see a complete and clear image that is not marked and not scaled to match the number of pieces. Some better images are 500 pieces and some better than 2000.

Broken Pieces

Finally, the pieces. Bad and bad wounds are just anger. We wanted it to be a challenge, but we didn’t want the pieces to fit in many places. We want to know when we’re doing the right thing. Sometimes the pieces are too thin and broken in the middle. They split from the back. We don’t want to have to operate on debris and always use glue to paste.

I have commented on pieces too glossy, or riddles with too much sky or water. Although those are logical points – those are largely a matter of personal preference that is still considered. Other complaints relating to high prices, spending the entire amount to receive free trafficking online, missing pieces and online sellers are selling fake or fake puzzles.

And because nobody’s wrong about being confusing, I’ll definitely remember all this when I write. What bothers you? Join the conversation today. I want to know!
